    Julia is the official virtual assistant of Rome, created to enhance the tourist experience in the Capital.

    Developed by the Rome Attraction Foundation & Partners, Julia is an innovative digital platform that uses artificial intelligence to provide quick and personalized responses to the needs of visitors. It doesn’t require app downloads or registrations: just send a message via WhatsApp or other messaging platforms, or through the dedicated website to access all the necessary information.

    How does it work?

    Julia collects and organizes information directly from operators in Rome, such as museums, hotels, restaurants, theaters, and other service providers, continuously updating data to provide accurate and timely responses.

    This approach ensures superior information quality compared to simple internet searches, which are not always reliable.

    Among the many things Julia can provide are:

    • Ongoing events, such as cultural events, shows, exhibitions, and demonstrations;
    • Personalized itineraries, based on the user’s time and preferences, Julia can suggest tailored paths, combining main attractions with alternative routes;
    • Mobility and transport, Julia offers up-to-date information on public transport, traffic, and sustainable mobility alternatives, to facilitate travel around the city;
    • Dining and accommodation services, thanks to direct connections with local restaurants and hotels, Julia proposes gastronomic and lodging options tailored to the user’s tastes and specific needs.

    The benefits of Julia

    Julia solves the problem of fragmented tourist information by offering a solution that relies only on direct, verified sources, providing useful, reliable, and personalized answers, while also creating a dialogue with the user. Additionally, it promotes sustainable tourism by suggesting alternative routes and highlighting lesser-known attractions.

    Designed for both tourists and residents, Julia makes Rome more accessible and aware, improving the experience of those visiting or living in the city.

    With Julia, every trip becomes simpler, more engaging, and more authentic.
